At any given time, I am usually working at the intersection between psychology, disability studies, sociology, cultural anthropology, philosophy, nervous system science, and systems theory.

I am not an academically credentialed expert in any single one of these fields. I am someone with lived experience, pattern recognition, and a respect for the research that already exists.

My work aims to build bridges among them to better reflect real life.

Getting started is simple. Reach out through our contact form or schedule a call—we’ll walk you through the next steps and answer any questions along the way.

I didn’t start with theory. I started with people, and people are never just one thing at a time. They are affected by a variety of internal and external conditions simultaneously.

Internal

• Nervous system and neurology

• Interoception (hunger, pain, body signals)

• Capacity

• Sensory load (sound, light, touch, texture, movement)

• Executive function (memory, planning, attention, etc.)

External

• Structural systems of control (colonialism, racism, ableism, patriarchy, adultism, etc)

• Historical conditions (past events and experiences)

• Cultural conditions (norms, expectations)

• Power dynamics

My approach aims to hold the fact that more than one thing can be true at the same time.

Context matters and impact matters too. I work to bring this viewpoint into everything that I do.
